Join Richard Young in this online event hosted by Epson to learn the power of printing from Adobe Lightroom.

The first part of this online event will be a recorded video presentation where  Richard will cover a comprehensive introduction to the Lightroom Print Module to show how easy printing can be. It will be concluded by a look at a few of the Epson Signature Worthy Fine Art Papers and the different finish each delivers. This will then be followed up with a live Q&A ZOOM session on the 25th of June at 7-8 pm when Richard will be able to answer some of your printing questions.

Printing is often considered a dark art, requiring very in-depth technical knowledge to achieve good results. With terms like colour space, ICC profiles, resolution etc.,  it is easy to see why. However, it doesn’t require as much in-depth knowledge as one may presume. One of the biggest things that has changed home printing for photographers is the print module within Adobe Lightroom. Compared to Photoshop it has made setting up print files much easier, automating a lot of the processes like file size, colour space, and sharpening - allowing you to print directly from your RAW files.

The video will be presented by Richard Young, a full-time professional and award-winning landscape photographer. He has many years of experience making large format, fine art prints and is an Epson Ambassador. Richard is the founder of New Zealand Photography Workshops where he teaches fine art printing on a series of 1-Day Printing Workshops and also on an advanced Online Portfolio Masterclass; covering post-processing, fine art printing and portfolio development.
