  • Duration: 8 Hours
  • Location: Wanaka

Join us for a one-day Learn To Print Workshop and discover how to set up print files and turn your photographs into beautiful Fine Art Prints. Printing can often be considered a dark art and this workshop covers an easy-to-follow colour management workflow to turn your photographs into professional-grade prints. Our workshop has been designed to simplify the printing process and this workshop will provide the knowledge you need to print your own prints at home or set up to be sent to a photo lab.

The workshop is run by Richard Young, a full-time nature and landscape photographer with 19 years of printing experience. Richard has worked with Epson as a printer ambassador for the last 5 years and will teach you the refined printing techniques he uses for his own gallery prints.

The workshop will cover a full printing workflow using Lightroom, from editing, sharpening and softproofing through to how to output your images to a large format printer. We will also cover paper choice looking at different styles of Epson Signature Worthy Fine Art Papers. Each paper type offers an entirely different impact, adding to the creative style of your photography. We will finish the workshop by makeing one of your own images into a beautiful 16x22” Fine Art Print on the Epson Surecolor P906; the perfect souvenir to take home.

You will leave the workshop with printing knowledge and experience, designed to take the frustration and complexity out of printing your work. The workshop includes free access to our online course Essential Printing and a detailed eBook and videos, covering all workshop elements.
