Immerse yourself in the art of bird photography with award winning wildlife photographers Edin and Tony Whitehead. This weekend workshop, located in Rotorua, home to a wide variety of waterbird species, including the nationally threatened weweia / New Zealand dabchick, and tarāpuka / black-billed gull.
You’ll visit the Wingspan National Bird of Prey Centre, where you’ll have the opportunity to to capture stunning images of kārearea / New Zealand falcon in action. As the premier centre for rehabilitation of birds-of-prey in New Zealand, Wingspan provides a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with our native raptors. 

Our workshop offers a perfect blend of hands-on tuition and post-processing sessions, designed to improve your skills and knowledge as a wildlife photographer. This is an excellent opportunity to refine your technique and learn from two of New Zealand’s top bird photographers.

TBC: Experience exclusive access to Mokoia Island, a sanctuary for endangered species since 1990.
