This Weekend Workshop combines our Introduction to Landscape Photography and Learn to Print Workshop, offering a comprehensive and immersive photography experience in the stunning surroundings of Wanaka.

The weekend begins on Friday afternoon, with Richard Young, for a review, critique, and editing session. This will be followed by a sunset waterfront shoot, and participants will have the option to attend a group dinner (not included).

Saturday, we’ll cover the fundamentals of creative landscape photography, including mastering camera settings, exposure techniques, shooting in manual mode, and using filters for long exposure photography. After the classroom session, we’ll head outdoors to apply these techniques, giving you the opportunity to capture stunning long exposure landscape shots.

Sunday, you’ll learn the essential workflows for preparing your images for printing and transforming your photographs into fine art prints. You’ll come away with the knowledge of how to turn your photographs into fine art prints at home or via a photographic print lab. You will leave the weekend with a 17 x 24" fine art print of one of your photographs.

The workshop is run by Richard Young, a full-time nature and landscape photographer, who has 19 years of printing experience and has worked with Epson as a printer ambassador for the last 5 years.
